Wellness as a Way of Life

I am a naturopathic physician, licensed acupuncturist and a registered nurse with over 25 year of experience.  I have developed a unique, proactive approach, which synthesize these medical traditions for disease prevention and the restoration of health.

Rather than simply addressing your symptoms, assigning a diagnosis and recommending a single method I craft a comprehensive treatment plan that takes a multidimensional approach that not only treats disease but also clears the way for vitality and optimal health.

Among the most common ailments I treat are allergies, chronic pain, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, obesity, respiratory conditions, heart disease, fertility problems, menopause, adrenal fatigue, , fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. I also treat structural issues and injuries through soft tissue release and acupuncture.

I believe that the human body has it’s own innate healing ability.  I provide my patients with a new arsenal of treatments and insights. Instead of waiting for a disease to emerge, I work to head it off before it happens.

I have been in practice for over 25 years. Currently I am adjunct faculty at Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine.

I am a graduate of Bastyr University and NIOM in Seattle. In addition to my private practice I began the integrated naturopathic/oriental medicine clinic at Bastyr.  More recently I have been involved in developing and supervising the first clinic in the U.S. to use visceral manipulation as the primary means of treatment.  Visceral manipulation is an osteopathic system of treating organ dysfunction through gentle manual therapy and can relieve many internal medicine issues through a more structural approach.
